You  want  good things in life?
Know their source first!

We strive to get all the good things we want from life. We try to get them in different ways with different strategies. We work hard to reach where we want. Sometimes it is easy to get what we want, though there are times things get difficult and tough.

Trying and working hard by themselves are very nice. However, in my opinion, we need something above all these. We have to know where to look for all the good things in life; because they have their own origins.

The Bible says: “Do not be deceived  ...…Every good and perfect gift is from above.” James 1:16-17

The origin of every good thing we can get from life is God. Our hard work will pay us back when God has signed his permission on it. Without him we can’t do anything. Some people may seem ignorant for what God did them in their life. But, God is the source of every good thing each one of us gets in life. After all, all the world and what is in it belongs to him. He created it all.

God is generous in giving. For instance, we can’t count how many times we breathe today. All the air, our breathing system, even the entire us, we get it for free. He gave us life free of charge.

I always wonder why we all want good and perfect things. It is a built in need inside us. Besides, we don’t usually wish what we can’t get. For every need we have, there is something to satisfy it. For hunger, there is food; for thirst, there is water; for the need of companionship, there is marriage; for social need, there are friendship and family ties and so on. God made it like that. For the need of perfect life, it is only God who satisfies it.   

Therefore, as the Bible puts it; “Do not be deceived” James 1:16. God is the source of every good and perfect gift in life. If you want your life to be good and perfect, here is the key. Ask God to give it to you. He is the source of perfect life. He is able to give you the best life he intended for you from the beginning.
