Are you running your own race?

There was this man who was able to say these words at the end of his life.

“I have finished the race.” 2 Timothy 4:7

Stop for a moment in your life now. Are you running your own life race?

Life is like a race. We all have our own life races. We are created according to a predefined purpose. We just are not here only to eat, drink and reproduce. We are here to do or change something.

What is your purpose in life? Where is your place in this world?  If you know why exactly you are here, you are able to run your own race.

Running your own life race will help you get the best you can get from life. However, it is a usual phenomenon to see people run a race that is absolutely not their own. It is just a waste of time.

You have your own duties in life. There are unique opportunities and gifts that life will give only to you. See life differently. You are not ordinary.  Don’t follow anything that you find in your way. Find yourself. Find why you are here? Why you are in your particular country, society or family? Every life incident you find, shape it towards some goal.

Thus, how would you know your purpose in life?

The one and only solution to know why you are here is to ask your creator. You didn’t create yourself. Therefore, it is impossible to know why exactly you are created for. The one who created you will also guide you to the right life race you are in. Follow him strictly, so that you are able to run your own life race and be the best you can be.
