Pains in your Life

This young man Joseph (you can find his story on Genesis 37:1- 50:26) has suffered serious pains in life. He was betrayed by his own brothers, exposed to sexual temptation, and punished for doing the right thing; he endured a long imprisonment and was forgotten by those he helped.

We suffer pains. Living in this world is a big challenge. We have to struggle with many problems and hardships. That is the way we live.  However, turning these life pains in to something good is our part to do.

This young man Joseph was able to do that.  His positive responses changed each of his life problems in to a step forward.  The pains he suffered make him stronger. He achieved his life goals through them. Without those hardships he wasn’t able to get what he wanted.  

What matters in life is not the situations you are in to, but how you respond to them. Take everything for good. Invite God to your life. There is nothing like his presence to shed new light on a dark situation. He can turn every pain in your life in to something positive.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
