Life in its fullness This is a story of some young man. We all have plans for our lives. Despite our very limited knowledge and power as a human being, we strive to get what we think best in our minds. But with his unlimited power and great love, God also has plans for our lives.
This man has witnessed this in his life. His challenge was to obtain food for his family even though hostile invaders were making the growing, gathering, and preparation of the food almost impossible. He was resourceful. He put a winepress to double duty by turning it into a sunken threshing floor. It lacked ventilation to blow the chaff away, but at least it was hidden from the Midianites \the invaders\. He was working in his threshing floor when God sent him a messenger with a challenge.\1\ Even though most of us wonder how we find God’s plan for our lives, the fact is God speaks. The question is whether we are ready to hear his voice or not. One common misunderstanding is the idea that God’s guidance will come to us out of the blue, that it has nothing to do with what we’re doing now. But if we’re always looking around for God’s next assignment, we run the risk of ruining whatever we’re working on right now. Fortunately, the Bible points to a kind of guidance that does not put our current projects in jeopardy.\2\ However, this was what exactly happened on this young man’s life. His plans for his life were entirely different from what God had intended for him. God wanted him to fight the As a result, he defeated the invaders \Midianite\ army and become the fifth judge of his country, Israel. \Judges 6-8\ God has a plan for each one of us, a plan which is right and perfect. We plan what we think big depending on our limited knowledge and power. He plans what he thinks best in his deep love and unlimited power. Give God a chance in your life, so that you will be the best you can be. God knows us. He valued us before anyone else knew we would exist. He cared for us while we were in our mother’s womb. He planned our life while our body was still being formed. He values us more highly than we value ourselves.\3\ He\Jesus\ said “.....My purpose is to give life in all its fullness. “John 10:10 \1\ , \2\ & \3\ \The Book \An E-Book of the Bible\ Parsons Technology And Tyndale House Publishers\
