Problems in your Life – How do you see them?

My friend and I were visiting this young girl in order to find sponsors for her education. The girl was four years old living with her grand mom.  We were expecting what we are going to see. “A very poor family, they sometimes eat, sometimes they aren’t. The girl couldn’t go to school.” That was what we heard. When we go we were expecting some people with sadness and sorrow talking about their problems. Unfortunately, we found exactly the opposite of what we expected. 

Well, what we heard was right; they are poor, and the woman couldn’t send her grand child to school, they live in a very small and unclean house. That was right. But, despite all those problems, they were very happy. They don’t even mention their problems now and then, rather they were so thankful.

The girl is a very happy girl who wants to show you all her staff and eager to play and chat with you. The woman gives you big smiles all the time. She thanks God for what he did for them, for how good he was for them.  My friend and I were so amazed about what we have seen.

On another time, my team and I were going to visit this man who is a diabetic patient in our neighborhood. The man has a wife and three children who are around late teenage and early twenties. He was blind because of the diabetics for about five years.  In addition, he was in hospital for two weeks or above because of blood pressure. We were visiting in order to encourage him and his family.

We were expecting a sad family with complains of course.  Well, unfortunately, we found the reverse. A very happy and thankful family telling what God did best in their life and how he was with them throughout all their way. Honestly speaking, we didn’t say a word of encouragement for that family. Rather they gave us an assignment to see our life back.

 I was thinking about these people; how they become such happy and thankful.  Do you remember for how many times you hate your life seeing only the problems and failures you have been? Well, look on the bright side. What if those problems and failures you have passed or you still in are coming to your life for the very best reasons?

The Bible says:

We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

The reason why these people are happy is that; they understand whatever happened in their life, is happening for good reasons, when they walk with God. Invite God in your life! If you walk with God, everything happened in your life will be for the best reasons. Therefore, you will live your life with happiness and satisfaction.
